Dacy Flynt Is General Manager For The Charlotte Area With Association Management Group

A recent Community Association Institute survey found that homeowners associations believe things are improving. The industry as a whole has struggled in recent years because of the recent recession. Many homeowners associations are feeling the pinch still, of course, but more than 90% of association community managers and board members are now saying that their association's financial health is “excellent” or “good”. Around 10% are saying their association's financial health is “fair” and only 2% are saying it's “poor”. These are very encouraging numbers for an industry that depends heavily upon the health of the economy. The results of the survey reflect the responses of more than 1,000 community managers and association board members.

Dacy Flynt of Association Management Group is certainly one homeowners association management specialist who believes the industry is trending the right way. Dacy Flynt is an integral part of the team at Association Management Group and the consummate professional. She firmly believes that the industry is headed in the right direction due to better business practices. Association Management Group has been at the forefront of information sharing that should help to lead to the growth of the industry as a whole.

Many associations are currently discussing the idea of increasing fees. There is no consensus on whether this is a good idea right now, but forty percent of associations in a recent survey reported not raising their fees. Those that did mostly went for small fee raises. These are important issues that must be confronted by homeowners associations nationwide for the sake of the industry as a whole. Dacy Flynt of Association Management Group has always sought to emphasize that in order for specific businesses to thrive, the industry must have a good reputation.
